 HTI and ETI, key indicators for the application of plant protection products

HTI, Health Toxicity Indicator and ETI, Environmental Toxicity Indicator

 have been developed by the laboratory  CIHEAM-IAMM of Montpellier,

under the scientific name EToPhy.

Their use is recommended by the General Commission for Sustainable Development

of the Ministry of the Environment and is referenced by INRAE and AFB.

HTI & ETI complement the Plant Protection Frequency Indicator or IFT , used to support the implementation of public policies and in particular the French national plan  Ecophyto.
